G.I. JANE

Some of you have recently seen me doing Burpee-Pull ups after the wod....I have had a few questions regarding exactly why I am doing this.......and kam told me to put it up on the forum so I could track my progress. My goal for the new year (sometime in Jan) is to complete G.I. JANE....100 Burpee-Pull ups for time.

My current plan is to do 25 BPU's after each workout and increase that number by 5 each week until the new year and then try to complete the 100.

Ok.....so I have completed my first week of BPU's. It's been pretty difficult mustering up the extra energy at the end of each WOD to complete them.

I'm finding it a hard transition from the bottom part of the Burpee to Jumping on the PU Bar.....timing will be key if I'm going to complete the 100.

Next week I will do 30 BPU's each day post WOD. I might even try a few with the vest on just to see how it feels........

So I've been sick since the weekend and have not been able to get to Spark.......hopefully Thurs night. I will be a week behind on the BPU's....it's gonna suck trying to make them up.

So I didn't start to feel better until this past Fri, so I could'nt get to Spark till Sun morning. I managed to rattle off a few BPU's but I was still struggling. Went to the gym yesterday and managed to get 25 in post WOD. This week is going to be a write off considering I do FGB on Thurs night and head off skiing on the weekend. So I guess I won't pick things up again till the following week. :(
