Part Deux

So here is the second half of the vid from yesterday.  Does it sound pretty straight forward yet?  Yes I know there will be lots of questions and I may even have the answers for some of them but don’t be afraid to do a little digging!  You can find tonnes of great info at: thepaleodiet.com and at robbwolf.com

I think we’re definately going to have to do a Paleo Challenge in the near future.  Perhaps a small buy in with the top 3 winners (change in body composition etc) taking all the cash.  What do you think?

Even though I hate running. This has been my favourite WOD in a long time. Something great about the explosive power needed to lift heavier weight overhead and blast your chest up to the bar. Loved it!!!!

  2. Jonny Says:

    I agree Brett.
This one goes up there as one of my favs. Lungs were burning on that second 400m.

  3. Timmy Says:

Agree with you two……I have never jerked that much weight above my head before. It was tough but it felt great! Awesome WOD….

  4. Darron Says:

I too really liked that WOD…I was just bummed not to run it. My lungs were definitely killing after my second row. Also, need to work on my jerk A LOT. I dunno what it is about that lift, but I my form is to crap.

Also, on a more random note for anyone looking to buy new shoes - Sporting Life is currently doing buy one, get one half off. Free shipping on orders over $100.

Thinking of getting a new pair of Frees…and another pair of my UA shoes for ball hockey…

  6. Dave F. Says:

Thanks for the link Darron… never heard of Sporting Life but looks like they have some good stuff and good prices.

I liked the workout as well but was messed up thinking about the amount of weight over my head. I ended up scaling it down and regret it. I’m pretty sure I could have gone a lot closer to Rx and as a result I felt like I cheated myself a bit. I guess I’ll have to make up for it during the next WOD. I also need to work on my form.

Keep up the great blogs Kim.
